Plan A Holiday Party at Pinecrest!

Christmas is almost here! Pinecrest Event Center has one of the most beautiful and scenic venues to hold your Christmas party in Colorado. From the magnificent mountain setting to our warm and welcoming event center you will have a Christmas party that everyone will always remember. Our perfect location will set the mood for your Holiday spirit with the beautiful mountains, cedar trees, and maybe even snow!

The Historic Pinecrest is the ideal place during the Christmas season! It's festively adorned with cedar bows, and our stone fireplace will be a perfect place to have story-time with Santa or set up a photo booth. You can fit up to 225 people in our facility, but we can also accommodate much smaller groups. As a bonus, our wood floors mean that you can place the dance floor anywhere!

The first step to creating a memorable Christmas party is to have it in a great venue, but planning for the party can be challenging. We are here to help make your planning easier, and we have six tips to remember while planning your perfect Holiday party!

Pick a Theme

Your theme will set the tone for the entire party, and the ideas are endless. Here are a few themes that could make a really fun and festive event:

  • Murder at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party
  • Vintage Christmas
  • North Pole Party
  • Pajamas & Pancakes Holiday Party
  • Christmas Movie Costume Party
  • Mingle and Jingle Corporate Party
  • Christmas in WhoVille
  • Merry Mountaintop Christmas Party

Choose the Right Food

When you've chosen a theme, you can then choose fun foods that match. You can find some fun ideas on Historic Pinecrest's Pinterest Account. If you're going with a Grinch party, there are some fun green punch recipes that can be used. Whereas if you are having a pajamas and pancakes party you'll want plenty of fun and different pancakes flavors and toppings. Have fun and get creative with the food - and don't forget to make a lot!

Plan Ahead

Christmas may seem far away, but you want to get a head start on planning. Thankfully some stores are already helping you out on this, since Christmas decor is already lining their shelves. Walmart, Target and Hobby Lobby are good places to get your Holiday decorations now. Make your list, check it twice, and don't forget to be really nice!

Play Some Games

Aside from the food, games are what will help keep the party fun. Pin the heart on the Grinch, ugly sweater contests, white elephant gift exchanges are some ideas to liven up the party. If you're having a Christmas Movie Party, grab some soundbites from the films and have a "Guess that Movie" game. Keep it fun, lighthearted and exciting - and don't forget some awesome prizes!

Don't Forget the Music

Music will help set the Holiday spirit and provide dancing opportunities after dinner. Contact us if you want a live DJ for your party. We can set you up with a professional DJ who can handle live requests and spice up the interaction with your party guests. We also provide a digital sound system with microphones and instrumental inputs when you use our preferred DJ.

Decorate For the Season

Don't be afraid to get creative with the decorations. From the table centerpieces to the stage and everywhere in between, you will have many beautiful options at the Historic Pinecrest. We will help you out with some of your decor options by providing chair covers and bows, table linens, and other decoration options. Let us help you with the decorations so you can focus on the fun stuff!
